Tacoma

We're here in Tacoma, Washington for the next couple of days to connect with Soma, which is a church that is expressing the body of Christ in community and to their community in a very cool way! We had a great chance to connect in community last night at a house group gathering at Jeff Vanderstelt's home. They are a very cool expression of what the body of Christ is all about. The conversation's were very real and honest and there was such a warm vibe in the room. All the things that characterize the body of Jesus. Here were people who were "being" the church - not attending church. I kept thinking - wow, this is so natural and authentic and oh, yeh - it's the church too!

Many of the things that we have been talking about and leading towards - are the foundation of what is happening here at Soma.
